West Palm Beach earns a commanding victory over Delray Beach
The Knights were able to earn one of their most impressive wins of the season, as they dominated the Delray Beach Lightning on the road, 11–4. West Palm Beach moves back up to .500 with a 16–15 record, and Delray Beach is now 22–11 on the year.
This matchup marked the final meeting between these two teams, with the series going to the Knights 3–1.
Dominik Ramil had his fingerprints all over the game, as he had two hits in four appearances highlighted by a two-run homer, his first of the year. Tyler Cox and Juhlien Gonzalez also provided offense for West Palm Beach with both having two RBI’s like Ramil.
West Palm Beach had their biggest lead at the end of four with a six-run inning in the fourth to give them a 10–1 lead.
Delray Beach had 10 hits compared to the Knights 11, and only had four strikeouts while the Knights had 13. But the Knights were able to contain the Lightning’s scoring despite their hits which ended up being the deciding factor.
Pitching:
Tyler Ramage earned the win for the Knights as he pitched in six innings. Ramage now has a record of 4–1. Brian Gaffney was the losing pitcher for the Lightning and now has a 1–2 record for the summer.

The Knights will return to Keiser on Thursday to face the Palm Beach Diamond Ducks (18–14). West Palm Beach has yet to beat the Diamond Ducks as they were defeated in both games with the most recent result being a 4–3 loss. The Knights will look to advance to two games over .500 while also beating the Diamond Ducks for the first time this season. The game is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.
